]]> The US Congress has officially announced that it will hold a meeting on the energy use and environmental effects of Bitcoin (BTC) mining on January 20! The Energy and Commerce Committee will hold a session at Congress next week describing the environmental impact of cryptocurrencies.

Concerns are expressed that cryptocurrency mining could have a negative impact on nature. The meeting, where problems and solutions will be discussed, will be held on 20 January. A similar discussion took place a few months ago, and there was a decrease in crypto money prices. We will all have tested the impact of the decision from the meeting on Bitcoin, Ethereum and other altcoins.

Everyone is researching about the decisions to be made about cryptocurrency mining in 2022. When will the US Congress meet? What legal decisions will be made about mining?
